The Kids

  • Cora

Cora radiated joy with infectious laughter and a captivating beauty that left a lasting impression. Revered as the cautious one, her demeanor was rooted in an innate and genuine caring nature. Voicing her dreams of a future as a doctor and a mother, she dedicated herself to nurturing by diligently conducting check-ups for Callan.

Leaving the house involved a thoughtful process for Cora, who carefully selected a caretaker for her cherished baby dolls, Caroline and Charlotte. Ensuring their well-being with meticulous attention and utilizing all available doll accessories, she exhibited care that extended before age two, earning her the endearing title of a "good little mama."

Cora's affection spanned the realms of reality and imagination, embracing real and imaginary babies alike. Her fondness for sloths, unicorns, tea parties, and delightful lunch outings with Nana and Grandpa showcased her diverse interests. A joyful giver, Cora took pleasure in presenting thoughtful gifts. Her extensive knowledge was evident as a devoted princess enthusiast, with Sofia the First holding a special place in her heart.

Her expressions of love for her brothers and family were a constant, delivered in a sweet, tender voice that resonated with warmth. Cora's presence in the family was marked by genuine affection, making every interaction treasured.

  • Dawson

Dawson's captivating gaze was adorned with beautiful, bold, brown eyes that radiated friendship. Possessing a natural sense of humor, he surpassed the typical generosity of a toddler, always eager to share his toys with others. Despite the love showered upon him, Dawson consistently gave back even more, his defining quality being his pure kindness.

His interests ranged from trucks and tractors to dinosaurs, Paw Patrol, and what he endearingly referred to as "worker guys." The outdoors held a special allure for him, and he approached life with a mix of adventure and mischief, finding humor in the trouble he often caused. Remarkably intelligent, Dawson's cleverness added to his charm. The family humorously mused that living in Dawson's future guest house would suffice if retirement savings fell short.

Dawson had a unique way of expressing affection, enveloping others in hugs tighter than most adults. Each night, without fail, his bedtime ritual included the consistent words, "Goodnight, dada, I love you." From day one, a special bond flourished between them, making him not only a cherished companion but also the firstborn son, truly a precious gift in every sense.

  • Callan

As the third child in the family, Callan was known for his effortless adaptability and remarkable ease in navigating life. He was always a source of joy, with a vibrant and happy personality that earned him the affectionate nickname of "Happy Callan." Even as a baby, he displayed a flexibility that characterized his nature, and he was known for his peaceful and easy-going demeanor.

Callan's journey into language was a delight to witness, marked by his first utterance of "Dada" whenever his dad, Pat, entered the room.

Despite his young age, Callan possessed an intuitive ability to heal, providing comfort to those around him on even the most challenging days. And even in his final moments, his enduring warmth lingered, providing solace to his loved ones as they found hope and comfort in their faith.

Every moment spent with Callan was a gift, and his memory will continue to be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
